MEDICAL SPECIALIST FOR IMAGING SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT

Requirements: Master Degree in Computer Science or Medicine or Any Related Field and one year of experience in the job or one year of experience as a General Manager for Medical Software.

Job duties: Supervises a team of application programmers responsible for system implementation. Provides guidance in developing and designing medical imaging systems. Coordinates and directs projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals. Develops, designs and researches computer software systems for acquisition, processing, storage, delivery and communication of medical images and associated medical and non-medical data, while applying principles and techniques of medical physics, radiology, human anatomy and physiology. Creates and evaluates test-sets of medical images for development, testing and quality assurance. Requires experience with: medical imaging modalities and associated medical hardware (CT, MRI, Ultrasound); Medical imaging equipment interfaces; Electronic patient record communication protocols; and Medical imaging communication standards and protocols.
