Amedic-3D is a complete system for three-dimensional medical imaging. It runs on 32-bit Windows 95/NT 4.0 platform and takes full advantage of the modern PC architecture, offering high speeds of visualization on medium and high class personal workstations.

Amedic-3D includes a software package for medical image aquisition, storage/retrieval, processing and obtaining three-dimensional reconstructions. It represents all of the recent advances in the medical imaging field and is fully compliant with DICOM 3.0 file formats.

Amedic-3D is developed to help the physician in the management and interpretation of patients’ data from various imaging modalities (US, CT, MRI). It provides tools for grabbing, import, storage and processing of single images and volume sequences, as well as additional patient/examination data.

Three-dimensional planar reconstructions, surface and volume shading are simple and fast to achieve, and provide useful information for the spatial interrelations in the examined area.

The system takes full advantage of the friendly Windows 95 interface, making work fast and easy for the end user.
